Hey there, heroic readers!

It was wonderful to see all of the Heroes at the Fall fair! It was a great experience and I know everyone enjoyed the face painting, feathers, and foam! What a great time! I have pictures and will post them this week.

First Grade Notes:
Thank you to all the students and parents who came to the Fall Fair! I can tell that everyone had a great time! Thanks also to our wonderful PTA who put together the Fall Fair and the parents and families that donated to the baskets. What a great show of support!

Thanks also to all the first grade families who came to the music performance on Thursday. The kids did a great job and we were so proud of their hard work and commitment.

Community School Walk:Tuesday, October 25th
Meet at Meyer Park and begin walking at 7:15
 *Wear RED on Tuesday!
If you are new to Tve or have not joined us in the past, this is an annual tradition that is really a lot of fun!  Tuesday morning we are planning on wearing red and meeting at Meyer Park here in the neighborhood around 7:00am (as you leave the front of the building, turn right and it is about 2 blocks down on the left.  The park with the huge slide).   Please encourage your students to join.  It is lots of fun.  We all begin walking at 7:15am from that point to the school building and it is a way for us to show that we are making 'healthy choices'.  A very cool way to start the day.
